Important Hunting Considerations:
Licenses and Permits: In addition to a hunting license, you need a specific either-sex deer permit or deer management permit.
Regulations: Always check the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) site for the most up-to-date regulations before you hunt, as rules can change annually.
Equipment: Expandable and mechanical broadheads are legal for use.
Bag Limits: Bag limits vary by county, so be sure to check the specifics for your area.
Important Notes
$1,500 security deposit required (hold placed 2 days prior to arrival)
No unauthorized parties or events; unapproved events incur full event fee
Quiet hours after 10 PM per city ordinance
No smoking indoors – $200/day fine for violations
$150 fee if hot tub requires draining/cleaning due to misuse
Please take the trash bags to the dumpster in the front parking lot. A $100 fee will apply if trash is not disposed of properly.
Outdoor security cameras on property for safety
Historic estate updated in 2024 – our team is on call for any issues
Groundskeepers may access exterior/garage during your stay
3% payment processor fee applies (non-refundable, even with cancellations)
The pond is mainly for fishing. It is clean but there is not a designated entry for swimming.
You are welcome to swim at the pond, but it is difficult to get in and out because you need to use the deck. We are working on upgrading the facilities.
Guests can mail a check if they do not have the Zelle option. Please allow enough time for it to arrive before check-in.
Guests can use their own caterers.

The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, plates, bowls, knives, forks, spoons, cups, coffee, and mugs for up to 29 people.
We have enough towels, pillows, and blankets for each room.
We leave a starter supply of cleaning supplies.
Baking sheets: yes.
Ziploc bags: no.
Laundry detergent: no.
Dishwasher soap: we supply dish soap and leave a couple dishwasher pods.
General cleaning supplies: yes.
Sugar, salt, and basic condiments: yes.
No sound system and no microphone for speeches.
We have 3 kayaks that are 10 feet long, 1 paddle boat, 4 adult life jackets, and youth life jackets.

We leave a starter stack of firewood on-site. If you run through that, we will provide contact info to purchase more locally.
All beds come with full bedding, and each bed that sleeps two has two sets of towels.
Additional guests can bring sleeping bags if needed. The extra guest fee helps cover wear and tear, utilities, and access to amenities.
We do not provide separate towels for the sauna.
Yes. The theater is connected to Roku, so you can log into streaming apps like Netflix.
Our system automatically sends check-in info the morning of arrival (excluding passcodes and sensitive info), but we will check if we can send it in advance.
We provide a starter pack of essentials like garbage bags and basic cleaning supplies. If you run out, you may need to pick up more during your stay.
We have 3 kayaks that are 10 feet long, 1 paddle boat, 4 adult life jackets, and youth life jackets.

If you would like it cooler, note the thermostats are set with a lower limit of 70°F and will not allow adjustments below that.
We recommend giving the system at least an hour to fully cool the space. If it still feels too warm after that, please reach out. We are happy to help.
